Updated Hakosuka wheel swap

I updated the Hakosuka Skyline I customized last year. I changed the wheels from a original set of MonoBlock wheels to the new ones they launched with tire letters. For this particular swap, I decided to go with the gold chrome wheels with “Toyo Tires” written on them.

You can buy MonoBlock wheels @ www.shopmonoblock.com

It took me a while to find this one, I had to literally travel to Colorado Springs in order to find a pair of this cast (sorry local collectors).

(To clarify, I didn’t go to Colorado Springs just to find these, I was on vacation over there and found them in a Barnes and Noble).

M2 Machines Auto Japan Part 1

Well, it has been a while. I got somewhat lazy and with my job being so busy I really didn’t had much chance to post anything here.

A couple of days ago I was in Colorado for my vacations (the pictures I took over there are going up another day) and on my way back to the hotel I stopped by a Wal-Mart and found a complete set of the M2 Machines Auto Japan series. Unfortunately no chases were found here (I doubt I’ll ever find a M2 chase in the wild).

The series consists of 6 cars total and all of them are Nissan’s, and are the following:

  • 1969 Nissan Bluebird 1600 SSS
  • 1969 Nissan Bluebird 1600 SSS Race
  • 1970 Nissan Fairlady Z Z432
  • 1970 Nissan Fairlady Z Z432 Race
  • 1971 Nissan Skyline GT-R
  • 1971 Nissan Skyline GT-R Race

I will be separating this into 3 post’s, with the first one dedicated to the Bluebird.
